The coffee run, sorted.

One person heads out. Everyone else adds their order and pays through the app. No group chats, no chasing money, no trying to remember who wanted oat milk.

How it works

Three steps. That's it.

Step 1

Someone's going for coffee

Pick a cafe, set a cutoff time, and let the group know. Everyone gets notified.

Step 2

Everyone adds their order

Browse the cafe menu, pick your usual (or try something new), and pay through the app. No cash, no IOUs.

Step 3

Coffee arrives

The cafe has everything ready. The runner picks it up — or a few of you walk over together. Up to you.

Works for everyone

For the person who volunteers

  • No more 'wait, was that a large or a small?' — orders come through the app
  • Everyone pays their own way. You never touch money.
  • Earn points and rewards for doing the run
  • Carrying a lot? Others can join you for the walk

For everyone else

  • Get notified when someone's heading out
  • Particular about your order? Save it. One tap next time.
  • Someone need a coffee? Shout them one
  • Want to go along? Tap 'I'll join you'

For cafes

  • Prepaid group orders — no payment hassle
  • Clear digital orders on a simple dashboard
  • Steady orders from nearby groups
  • Automatic payouts via Stripe

More than logistics.

A coffee run is five minutes out of someone's day to do something for everyone else. Sometimes a couple of people come along for the walk. Sometimes you shout a flat white for someone who looks like they need it. BeanRun handles the organising — the rest is up to you.

Frequently asked questions

How does BeanRun work?
Someone in your group volunteers to do the coffee run. They pick a cafe and everyone gets notified. You add your order, pay through the app, and the runner picks everything up. No group chats, no chasing payments.
Is BeanRun free to use?
BeanRun is free for customers. You pay for your coffee (the same price as ordering at the counter) and that's it. Cafes pay a small platform fee.
What cafes can I order from?
Any cafe that has partnered with BeanRun in your area. We're launching in Orange, NSW and expanding based on demand. If your favourite cafe isn't on BeanRun yet, let them know!
Do I need to be the runner every time?
No. Anyone in your group can volunteer. Most groups share it around — and runners earn points and rewards.
Can I join the runner on the walk?
Yes. Tap 'I'll join you' in the app. Good if you want to stretch your legs, or if the runner could use a hand carrying.
How do payments work?
Each person pays for their own order through the app via Stripe (credit/debit card or Apple Pay / Google Pay). The runner never handles money. You can also shout someone a coffee.
